The MiniMasher Sold to Artist Rich DDT

The MiniMasher is Moldover’s third bespoke jambox, iterated for a number of years before reaching its current equilibrium of simplicity, portability, and accessibility. Delighted with its final outcome, he is proudly passing it over to his long-time collaborator, interactive arrtist Rich DDT. Moldover captured this new demo video showcasing all of the jambox’s current features before letting it go.

Four Track (Acoustic), Out Now

Four Track (Acoustic) is live on all major music distribution platforms today.

The original release of “Four Track” marked a return to Moldover’s roots as a singer-songwriter, now blended with the technological innovations that have since become his musical signature. All the songs on the album were originally written with just an acoustic guitar and the artist’s voice, before going through the elaborate performance and production processes that gave Four Track its finished sound.

Reflecting back years later Moldover remarked “I found myself missing the raw and authentic character of the original demo-recordings that no one got to hear. I decided to re-record a batch of these songs in that simplified, stripped-down format, and throw in one new song to keep things interesting”. The end result is interesting indeed, and very different from anything we’ve heard from him so far. Nine songs of pure Moldover, sans technology.

New Music Video Animated by B1

Designed by Moldover and animated by audio/visual artist B1, the official music video for Moldover’s song “Cash” is a kinetic journey through numerous unique mind-scapes where consumerism and spirituality converge. Packed with crafty satire and nostalgic absurdity, familiar images are subtly altered, flipped inside out, and mashed together in unexpected and delightfully facetious ways. Blend in some Moldover iconography, add a dose of B1’s playfully psychedelic style, and the result is this brilliantly witty commentary on capitalism’s dominance of our lives, and our world.
