I've just returned from the playa and what a phenomenalicously creative burn it has been! All of August, in fact, has been so wonderfully epic with three major LoveTech events at major art and science museums (CA Academy of Science and YBCA). This month we've got another three exciting events!

TONITE

Friday September 10th, 7-11pm: "PROJECTIONS" at Million Fishes Art Gallery 2501 Bryant St (@ 23rd St) "Projections" is a one-night event featuring interactive video art, video sculpture, projected interactive visualizations, and immersive spaces by local artists Justyn Myers, Jonathan Ferran, Mary Franck and Rich DDT.

Featured LoveTech interactive artist Justyn is producing this show, showcasing 3 unique styles of his blissfully hypnotic interactive feedback. At Burning Man I installed my LoveTech-inspired interactive art installation "Galaxy Conduit", an interactive portal to the cosmos opened by human touch, incorporating some musical interactions crafted by Moldover. See it playa-fresh here! And both Mary Franck and Jonathan Ferran have contributed their video art to LoveTech in the past. Thursday September 23rd, 7pm-3am: "COPYRIGHT CRIMINALS" at Mighty 119 Utah St (2 blocks from Il Pirata) Copyright Criminals is a Slayer's Club film screening + expert panel + dance party featuring LoveTech's Digital Jam Lounge and a all sample-based set by yours truly, Rich DDT, accompanied by MZO. Headlining are Steinski, the godfather of sampling | innovator of the remix | producer of "The Lessons", Ample Mammal aka the Polish Ambassador, a featured live electronic performer at LoveTech, Amp Live, Kid Kameleon, Joe Mousepad, and on the panel is Steinski, Amp Live, Jeff Chang, Tim Jones (www.eff.org), Tony Berman (www.beat-law.org) and moderated by Larisa Mann. Saturday September 25rd, 9pm-2am: LoveTech at Il Pirata 2007 16th St (@ Utah St) Mark your calendars - we return to our Last Saturday headquarters for an afterburn party with utterly fresh live electronic music and interactive art. More details coming imminently.
